Bee Happy Ellie...

Hello crafty friends!...

Jayne here, I'm back today, sharing another DT project for The Paper Nest Dolls... 

This adorable image is called Bee Happy Ellie...

The background has been ink blended with Wild Honey Distress Ink and then using a dotty stencil to add glittery texture paste. The image was coloured with Copic markers and fussy cut out and popped up on foam tape. The Hello sentiment waas die cut 3 times and layered together to create a chipboard effect, finally, a spattering of gold sequins to complete this yummy card....

Summertime Card with Lemon Ellie

Hello PND friends!!  Shanna here today showing a fun Summertime card featuring the adorable stamp called Lemon Ellie.  I colored her with my Chameleon colored pencils and had fun layering her with a distress inked lemon branch as well.  

I live in California, where Summer is on full blast right now. So I love a good glass of lemonade and that is what this doll makes me think of!  With that said.... I am so ready for the cooler temperatures of fall!!  How is the weather where you are inspiring your creations??

Wow! We are having the best summer here in the UK! 

So todays' Inspiration card for The Paper Nest Dolls is Ice cream Elliexx....

Life is indeed, better in flip flops! I live in flip flops in the summer months (my grandkids actually call me Nanny Flip Flop LOL!!)

Sun, Flip flops and Ice cream! What more could a girl want!!

The card is an A2 sized card (4.25"x 5.5") Landscape top fold. The patterned papers are from an old Doodlebug Designs paper pad called 'Sunkissed'. The image is a digital stamp calle Ice Cream Ellie.

I made a fridge magnet that becomes a photo frame with the June release Avery with Summer Drink

I colored it with Prismacolor and I made paper piecing on the dress and on the headband.

Emma with Anchor

Karen N here from Craftily Yours, providing some inspiration for YOU to join the Paper Nest Dolls Anything Goes Challenge!  We LoVe to see what you create!  It's summer-fun time, so I decided to create a summer / water sports inspired card:

So sweet, this doll with her anchor, aptly named, Emma with Anchor.  I colored her with the following Copics:

Skin:  E000, E01, E11, R21, BV20
Hair:  E21, E23, E25
Clothes:  Y13, Y15, Y18, R24, R27, R29, BG72, BG75, BG78
Anchor:  C1, C3, C5

The background is created with Distress Oxide inks.  (LoVe them!)  And I added a sentiment from the General Sentiments set from Elizabeth Craft Designs.  I also added some lace, ribbon and enamel dots.

Summer is Sweet

Hello everyone, DT Jammie here.  It's FINALLY summer, the kids are all out of school, and the evenings are warm.  This is the time of year when I thrive! Gosh I love the warm weather and being outside.... well other than the bugs! ha ha ha I HATE the summertime bugs! You know one of my favorite things about summer..... fresh fruit poured into home made ice cream! (Yeah, did your really think I was THAT healthy? Ha ha ha!) When I saw this sweet little Ice Cream Ellie I knew she was the perfect image to use for a sweet summertime card.

Hang 10 Inspiration!

Well Hello everyone, DT Jammie here with a sweet little Avery card today to inspire you.  I just adore this new release!!! It's finally starting to feel like summer, and summer is my favorite!  I colored up Surfer Avery here with my Copic markers on XPress-It blending stock and placed her on some awesome papers that I have had for over 12 years!!!!! Yeah, you totally read that right! I'm not ashamed to be a paper hoarder, it happens to some of the best people! Ha ha ha!
