Vannessa's Inspiration Post - Cupcake Emma

We have all fallen in love with this cute image from The Paper Nest Dolls and here is my version of Cupcake Emma. I went with a strawberry and yellow colour combo as the colours reminded me of strawberry and vanilla cupcakes!

She has been coloured in with Copics and you can read more about her on my blogpost here.

Don't forget to enter our challenge this month as well. As always it's an anything goes challenge and we have some fabulous prizes for you to win - this gorgeous ribbon bundle from Maya Road.

Shelly's Inspiration Post - Heart Balloon Ellie

Hello there everyone it's Shelly up on the blog today with a little inspiration for you.

For my card today I have used the fantastic Heart Balloon Ellie who is available here.  Isn't she gorgeous and she was an absolute dream to colour!

As always my card kind of evolved while I was making it and doesn't look anything like I imagined it in my head.  I love lots of layering on my cards and this one is no exception!

I have had these gorgeous Pebbles papers in my stash for so long and I don't think you can even buy them anymore.  I have been hanging on to them not wanting to use them up but I knew the colours were perfect for what I had in mind.

I have pricked around the edges of each of my patterned paper panels using my pricky tool and then drawn on some faux stitching with a brown fineliner.  I have then matted all of my layers onto brown cardstock to make them pop.

I die cut some circles from patterned paper and placed them randomly in the centre and cut out one of the flowers from the patterned paper to use as an embellishment.

I've coloured Ellie with Copics and fussy cut around her before mounting onto my card with foam pads.

To embellish I used some brown satin ribbon and some buttons....because a card can never have too many buttons right !

That's all from me today, have a great day :-)

Vannessa's Inspiration Post - Prom Dress Avery

Good Morning and welcome to an inspiration post from me for the Paper Nest Dolls. I totally love the dress that Prom Dress Avery is wearing in this stamp and just had to make a card using her. We didn't have proms at secondary school back in the day when I was there - an end of year disco, but nothing fancy at all. Nowadays many secondary schools have them at the end of Year 11, but nothing like the gorgeous American proms you see on TV and in films! I so wish we had had those when I was at school.

Anyway here is my card. I went for a simple, yet pretty card using a monochromatic colour scheme.

She has been coloured with Copics and you can read more about her here on my blog post.

Don't forget to join in our challenge this month as well whilst you are here. It's an anything goes as always and there are some fabulous prizes to win too!
