Vannessa's Inspiration post - Fashion Doll Classic

Good morning everyone and welcome to my last ever post for the Paper Nest Dolls blog. I have decided to step down from this design team and therefore my card is dedicated to Christine, Monica and Leah for having me on their team for the last year.

This time I have used the adorable Fashion Doll Classic for my card, using one of my favourite colour combos. Hope you like her too!

She has been coloured in with Copics and you can read more about her here on my blogpost

Vannessa's Inspiration Post - Fashion Doll Princess

Good Morning and welcome to my final inspiration post for 2015 for The Paper Nest Dolls. Christine has recently released some gorgeous new Fashion Dolls, wearing a fabulous range of different outfits and I chose to use the Princess one today.

Purple and yellow is another favourite colour combo of mine and I needed something bright and not red, green & gold, or blue, white & silver for a change from all those wintery and Christmas combos I have been using recently!

She has been coloured with Copics and you can read more about her on my blogpost here!

And that's all from me for this year and so I leave you with lots of Happy New Year Wishes!

Vannessa's Inspiration Post - Cupcake Emma

We have all fallen in love with this cute image from The Paper Nest Dolls and here is my version of Cupcake Emma. I went with a strawberry and yellow colour combo as the colours reminded me of strawberry and vanilla cupcakes!

Vannessa's Inspiration Post - Prom Dress Avery

Good Morning and welcome to an inspiration post from me for the Paper Nest Dolls. I totally love the dress that Prom Dress Avery is wearing in this stamp and just had to make a card using her. We didn't have proms at secondary school back in the day when I was there - an end of year disco, but nothing fancy at all. Nowadays many secondary schools have them at the end of Year 11, but nothing like the gorgeous American proms you see on TV and in films! I so wish we had had those when I was at school.

Anyway here is my card. I went for a simple, yet pretty card using a monochromatic colour scheme.

She has been coloured with Copics and you can read more about her here on my blog post.

Vannessa's Inspiration post - Pin Wheel Ellie

Good Morning and welcome to another of my inspiration posts for The Paper Nest Dolls. This week I fancied doing another not so frilly, not so pink card as I always tend to veer in those directions when making girly cards.

This time I used the cute Pin Wheel Ellie and used a pin wheel stamp set to make a colourful background. I also avoided the use of pink as well LOL. She has been coloured with Copics and you can read more about her here on my blog post.

And that's all from me for this post folks. Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to join our monthly challenge which finishes very soon!

Vannessa's Inspiration Post - Hula Girl Ellie

Good Morning and Happy Summer. The summer has finally arrived here in the UK and we are getting lots of warm sunshine at last, along with showers of rain though - typical British summer weather!

Inspired by the summer holidays that are very shortly going to be here I made a summer beach themed card using the gorgeous Hula Girl Ellie and coloured her in with my Copics.

You read more about her here on my blogpost.

Happy Summer Days!

Vannessa's Inspiration Post - Flower Friend

Good Morning and welcome to another of my inspiration posts for The Paper Nest Dolls. This week I am using the gorgeous Flower Friend. Although it doesn't look it in the photo, the girl's dress and the flower are actually slightly different shades of pink. I do hate it when the camera doesn't pick up things like colours properly. Or maybe it's the photographer that's the problem LOL

I kept this one fairly simply for a change! She has been coloured in with Copics as usual.

You can read more about this card here on my blogpost.

Vannessa's Inspiration Post - Fairy Ellie With Mushroom

Good morning! Vannessa here to share another of my inspiration cards with you. This time I am using the cute Fairy Ellie With Mushroom and made a fancy folded card, completely inspired by a workshop I attended last weekend. Lots and lots of die cuts used on this one and it took ages to make, but it was so worth it, don't you think?!

Vannessa's Inspiration Post Using Fairy Emma with Unicorn

Good morning and welcome to another inspiration post from me! Today I am sharing with you a card I made using Fairy Emma with Unicorn using non-girly colours. I tend to always go for pinks or purples when using fairy images, so I thought I would challenge myself to use some different colours for a change. The patterned papers were the colour inspiration this time and I actually really like this change.

She has been coloured with Copics and you can find out more about her on my blogpost here.

Don't forget there are still a few days left to play along with our challenge and there are some fabulous prizes to be won too!

Superhero Avery

KABOOM! Superhero Avery saves the day again! I just love this image and just had to use her for my inspiration post today! She makes for a great teen card or anyone who is a fan of superheroes. I coloured her with Copics in the style of Wonder Woman - my fave superhero. I wanted to be her when I was a kid....

Here she is and you can read more about her on my blogpost here.

Hugs, Vannessa
